Portal Management

Our bespoke portal, EM-Powered, is a three-way communication tool that brings together ourselves, clients and suppliers to ensure the smoothest and most accurate energy reporting process possible, which provides you with 24-7 access to your energy data. EM-powered collates all energy information in one portal, allowing thorough yet simple analysis for multiple or singular sites.

Budget management

Our highly skilled sales team will support you with securing energy contracts that suit your budget and ensure you’re utilising the energy you consume. This can also be done using our engineering support to look at how the business can be more energy efficient through site visits and HH (Half Hourly) data collection.

Energy efficiency / Cost savings

Our Energy Managers can carry out detailed on site surveys to assess the efficiency of your business; this results in finding where the most energy is being used and where costs can be cut. We also use HH data analysis to define this further. For example, exact timings that energy is being wasted (shutting down and opening times). Carbon reduction opportunity plans can then be put in place as to how you can effectively reduce the energy consumption of your business.

Tendering made simple

Due to our experience, we understand that tendering for multi-sites can be extremely intensive. We are capable of tendering multiple supplies with efficiency and ease, freeing up your valuable time to spend on the things that matter the most to your business.

Change of Tenancy (COT)

Here at Influx Energy, we manage COT’s by confirming end of contracts and sorting out a new supply within the sales team. We then communicate with the new supplier to check they have the correct information including the correct LOA in order to receive the new supplier invoices. First and final invoices are then validated to make sure the new and old contract rates match the new invoices.

Min/Met

Since 2014 the Min-met CCL exemption scheme has existed to ensure that businesses operating in these energy intensive industries are not punished by CCL, enabling your business to continue to compete. However, several businesses who are eligible for the exemption could stand to benefit by submitting a backdated claim. Influx Energy can inform you as to whether your business is eligible for the scheme, we can also support you in making a back claim if necessary. Influx Energy manage this by communicating with the supplier regarding the CCR as well as CCL to claim potential money back, as well as HMRC and completing PP10’s and PP11’s for the supplier. It is a lengthy process that we can help to make much smoother for you as the customer.

Energy Intensive Industries (EIIs)

EIIs are defined by their industry sector and electricity intensity. The Energy Intensive Industries exemption scheme set up by the UK government is where the UK’s energy intensive industries compete with companies in EU counterparts with lower energy costs, this can increase electricity costs. Ells are exempt from up to 85% of the costs, including contracts for difference (CfD), Renewable obligation (RO) and Small-Scale Feed in Tariff (FIT). The cost of the exemption would be paid for through an increase in costs for non-EII businesses. Influx Energy can support you with exploring your eligibility for exemption and pass this information onto the supplier, making sure any discount is applied.
